Welcome to Enville Brewery

Enville at Beacon Centre, Sedgley
Enville's office team, Helen & Bec, visited the Beacon Centre in Sedgley to deliver some Enville Brewery parasols for their courtyard. Helen (left) and Bec (right) are pictured with Marie, the Beacon Centre's Conference and Facilities Manager and Jag (in an Enville yellow polo shirt) who helps behind their bar.

Enville Brewery are proud to support this local worthy cause and hope the parasols will enable residents and visitors to use the splendid courtyard facility more often. Enville Ale, Enville Ginger, American Pale Ale and Gothic Stout are all available in bottles at the Beacon bar, where everyone is welcome.

Enville SIBA logo SIBA Food Safety and Quality Assurance

After a thorough process of inspection and attainment of specific improvements in our brewing processes, Enville are now fully enrolled in SIBA's Food Safety & Quality scheme.

As well as ensuring breweries operate to consistently high standards, SIBA (the Society of Independent Brewers) work to promote quality beers from independent craft brewers so that beer drinkers are well informed about local beer and that quality beer is available in all shapes and sizes; cask, keg, bottle and cans included.

Enville Old Porter award winner
Enville's Old Porter has won Gold in the annual CAMRA West Midlands awards in the Porter category.

Winning this prestigious award recognises Enville's commitment to quality and consistency and demonstrates that a permanently available 'dark' beer is still popular in the region. Old Porter 4.5% ABV is a traditional porter style ale, dark and creamy in appearance and offering a complex mix of roast malts, English hops and a wonderful caramel finish.

To complete Enville's memorable 25th Anniversary year in 2018, CAMRA also awarded Enville a Bronze Rosette for their speciality honey beer, Enville Ale which has been a regional favourite throughout the period and for the statisticians, this just happens to be it's 25th accolade. More

Enville Brew House Ale for The Shovel Inn

"Shovelicious" is an American style, slightly citrusy, session ale

Enville Ales in bottles When landlord Steve Hopkins wanted 'an ale to call his own' we were delighted and honoured to be asked to devise a recipe that would be enjoyed by his regular real ale customers.

We've created a modern style citrusy American session pale ale packed with Citra hops that should go down well with most real ale afficionados. And if you're wondering why Steve decided he needs a special brew at the Shovel read on...

Sorry, but due to essential maintenance Brewery Tours are currently unavailable
We hope to restart tours for the 2020 season.

You'll have a great time whilst helping us raise funds for local causes. These guys did...

Enville's 2018 Brewery Tour season kicked off with a visit from a great crowd of guys from Worcester based AMCO Services arranged by Mark Jones their General Manager of Operations.

After a couple of hours of serious sampling at the brewery their mini-bus took them - and four cases of bottled Enville! - to a curry house in Lye for some much needed sustenance. We trust they had a great time and thank them for their generosity in raising over £220 for local charities.

20 Awards in 10 Years for Enville Ginger

Enville Ginger wins 'Best Speciality Ale' at Woking Beer Festival 2017

Enville Ales are delighted to announce that Enville Ginger has won its 20th real ale award in the past 10 years!
Woking's festival organiser Ian Johnson went the extra mile by arriving by narrowboat to hand over the award with CAMRA colleagues Peter and Jane, before a brief tour of the brewery and a visit to The Cat Inn.

Enville's Rebecca Braham receives certification of Enville Ginger's triumph at the 2017 Woking Beer Festival where it was crowned Best Speciality Ale. Presenting the award is Woking's festival organiser Ian Johnson.

If you like your ale with bags of hoppy flavour...
...without being overpowered by bitterness then our 4.3% ABV American hopped Pale Ale will go down a treat. This stunning session beer has been late hopped with a trio of Americaís finest; Cascade, Citra and Chinook combining to create an intense aroma and provide an awesome flavour. The result is a bold, refreshing, fully-flavoured, hoppy session beer.
It's distinctly different to our honey-infused Enville Ale and has been received very favourably since it's introduction in 2017.

Enville Ale, Gothic and Ginger in Bottles!
here being celebrated by (L to R) Peter Isherwood, Gavin Williamson MP and Jerry Hedges
We were delighted to welcome Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, to the brewery on Friday 27th June 2014. Gavin's tour included a first look at the brewery's newest fermenting vessel ordered from South Staffordshire neighbours, PVSL, specialist process engineers located in Kinver.
The new 3,500 Litre fermentor will enable an increase in production volume to meet rising cask demand for Enville's award winning ales and allow further bottling production following the highly successful trial in May 2014.
Gavin Williamson MP is passionate about the local community and committed to helping small businesses in his constituency. Enville Ales are grateful for his support and in particular his knowledge of the UK brewery, pub and hospitality industries.

Bottled Ale Goes Down A Storm
After years of requests to bottle our ale we finally succumbed to a trial courtesy of the excellent bottling service provided by Holdens. The initial trial produced 270 cases of 12 x 500ml bottles of our award-winning original honeyed ale. After a week or so of sampling the remainder sold out in just three days! Director, Jerry Hedges said, "We had always been sceptics of the bottled product - but were amazed by the taste and quality of Enville Ale from the bottle but even that didn't prepare us for it selling out in 3 days!"
"The bottling success has unfortunately coincided with the busiest time of the year and the brewery doesn't have surplus capacity for brewing more for bottling so there will be a short delay before the next batch, but Watch This Space".

A Little Background Info...

Enville have been brewing quality cask ales for the licensed trade since 1993 and the range has grown as demand for variety has encouraged us to introduce ales which satisfy a wide range of tastes.

Everyone knows our Enville Ale but an increasing number are enjoying our other unique offerings - Enville Ginger, Enville Gothic and Enville White have all become firm favourites with discerning drinkers and along with our IPA and LPA we have sought to provide a good range of tastes, flavours and strengths to suit every palate. Our recently introduced 'Dragons Den' (originally developed to celebrate St George's Day) has also found a large following and our Mild ales satisfy the traditionalists who enjoy a sweeter full flavoured offering. Add to these our seasonal specials such as 'Slayed' for the festive period and we believe we have a stable of products which are deservedly held up as excellent examples of the kind of ales that today's drinker wants and deserves. Read more about our ales...

You can enjoy Enville ales at a host of outlets around the Midlands and order them for drinking at your own parties or just for a few pints at home over the weekend (or whenever YOU want to drink quality ales in the comfort of your own home).
