Spoilt For Choice at The Shovel Inn

Steve Hopkins, legendary owner of the Shovel in Lye,
hosted a fantastic evening on 20th April inviting customers to meet and talk with three of Enville Brewery's Directors who brought along a variety of their ales for free sampling.

In addition to the Shovels' splendid bar featuring a dozen finest cask ales and a selection of well kept lagers, ciders and Guinness etc. there was also an exciting range of five craft ales on sale and more bottles of exotic Gin than you could count ensuring everyone was 'spoilt for choice'.

As if that wasn't enough for a Friday evening, Steve also provided a wonderful selection of free street food that included sticky ribs with curly fries, chicken chow mein and spicy Mexican beef enchiladas. What a great night and thanks to everyone who helped make it such fun, especially Steve, Anj, Tammy, Bailey, Helen and Anj.

Paul points out to Jerry that the Shovel also keep an excellent
pint of Guinness.

Thanks to the hardworking Shovel team for ensuring everyone
had a great night.
