Brewer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to become an integral member of our production team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about beer, friendly, and wants to help continue Enville Brewery’s now thirty-year legacy as a local favourite brewery. At this time, we will only be considering candidates with previous commercial brewery experience.

The job will primarily be based on site at the brewery and bottling plant, aiding in most areas of production. Please note this is an extremely physical job involving the handling of heavy goods. Applicants should enjoy variety in their daily work life, and being part of a small, hands-on team.

Key Responsibilities for the role will include:

·         Produce beer to the quantity, quality and timescales required

·         Maintaining brewery and bottling plant hygiene to the highest level

·         Assist with the packaging of ales into cask, mini-keg, polypin, bottle and can.

·         Maintenance of accurate records of production, packaging and cleaning

·         Operating brewery equipment & machinery

Skills & Attributes:

·         Minimum 2 years commercial brewing experience

·         Manual handling & heavy lifting. Applicant must be physically capable as they will be handling weights approximately 25-40kg

·         Forklift truck experience preferred but not essential

·         Good organisational & time management skills

·         A passion for all things beer

Full time position (37.5 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, plus rotated weekend beer checks) with salary depending on experience plus:
