Enville Ales brewery blizzard bottle in cold snow

Blizzard Bottles

With the success of Blizzard increasing over the past few years, we took the decision to bottle our Winter Ale for the first time in October 2019. 2000 litres of Blizzard were sent to Edwin Holden’s Bottling  and on the 18 October we collected our first pallet of bottled Blizzard.

We launched the Blizzard bottles at The Cat Inn Enville at the end of October. We had such a great night and we thank Dan and Aimee for their hospitality (and cracking pork pies!). In two months we have virtually sold out so we’ve decided to have a bit more done, just to get us through the winter you understand!

It’s the icing on the cake to know that as we come to the end of the winter season, our Blizzard will be available from cask at the Great British Beer Festival Winter 2020 (4-8 February, The New Bingley Hall Birmingham). We’ll be there too!

The feedback we have had from customers has been fantastic and we must thank everyone who has took the time to let us know (whilst coming back for more!).

Enville Blizzard is still available to purchase in 500ml Bottles or preorder for mini kegs, polypins and casks. But be quick, when it’s gone it’s gone and won’t return until winter 2020!
